The World Habitat Awards, a competition that recognizes innovative, sustainable and scalable solutions to key housing challenges facing communities around the world, has opened application for 2015. The host – Building and Social Housing Foundation (BSHF), invites innovative housing projects to apply for the 2015/16 cycle for the chance to gain recognition for their work. Like any previous year, for the 2015/16 World Habitat Awards an award of £10,000 will be presented to each of the two winners. Winners are presented at the World Urban Forum (even years) and UN-Habitat Governing Council (odd years).
