The Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) has opened the competition for its 2014 Global Design Awards - the only international design awards focused on visual communications in the built environment, highlighting the importance of Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) in connecting people to place. Wayfinding, Placemaking and Identity, Exhibition, Strategy/Research/Planning, and Public Installation projects can be submitted in several sub-categories. SEGD is expecting entries from: Environmental graphic designers, Graphic artists, Architects, Exhibit designers, Media developers, Landscape architects, Industrial designers, Interior designers, Fabricators, Clients and Students.
